Quality takes control of Bice

Quality Distribution, which operates the largest chemical bulk tank truck network in North America, has completed its previously announced acquisition of Wylie Bice Trucking. Bice, which is headquartered in North Dakota, is a provider of transport services to the unconventional oil and gas industry in the Bakken shale oil production region. In addition, Quality says that it anticipates completing the acquisition of RM Resources, which was announced together with the Bice purchase, "in the immediate future".

The flowback and production water Bice hauls is primarily disposed of utilising four existing salt water injection wells owned and operated by RM. Quality has said that the purchases are part of its strategy to intensify its position as a "water and oil hauling logistics solutions provider across multiple shales on a more national scale."
