Perolo launches high-pressure valve

Tank component manufacturer Perolo has introduced its new Mega Superventix 7.5-to-15-bar safety relief valve. Perolo has already been supplying a 0-to-7.33-bar version of the valve to the market. “The new Mega Superventix is ideal if you are looking to build to DOT 51 (Stamp U) standards for the US market, or build IMDG T22 ISO 20-foot tank containers and IBC tanks for with pressure up to 15 bar,” says the company.

Perolo says the new Mega Superventix has a certified flow-rate range from 6.638m³/s at 7.5 bar, to 12.736 m³/s at 15 bar. It features FEP/PTFE seals, with an anti-extrusion system, and is available with Halar coating in a 2.5-inch flanged version, as well as with a full Hastelloy body and poppet.
