Nordic Tankers changes hands

Triton III has completed its acquisition of the chemical tanker operations of Nordic Tankers. The new company, Nordic Tankers Holding AB, owns the activities of Nordic Tankers A/S and herning shipping A/S, offering a combined fleet of more than 120 chemical tankers. ”Under a joint Nordic Tankers brand, the combined activities will have a leading position in the chemical tanker segment with a modern and high quality fleet with an average age of approximately five years,” says Nordic Tankers CEO Tommy Thomsen. “We can now commence the planned integration of our activities and the combination of our joint competencies will benefit both customers and employees.”
