Kuropka comes to Krahn

Dr Rolf Kuropka has been named as Krahn Chemie's new managing director, sales and marketing. He succeeds Dr Jörg Schottek, who took over as CEO and chairman of the managing board at the start of November. Together with Axel Sebbesse, managing director, finance and administration, Kuropka will be responsible for the operational management of the company. “Dr Rolf Kuropka is an internationally experienced manager who thinks and acts entrepreneurially,” Schottek says. “Our company will benefit from his extensive experiences and knowledge.” Kuropka is a doctor of chemistry and has a long-standing background in chemical research, sales and marketing, most recently as part of Celanese's European and global management teams.
