InterBulk to handle in-plant logistics in Tomsk
InterBulk has entered into a 10-year agreement with TomskNefteKhim and its parent company Russian petrochemical group SIBUR to handle on-site operations at a plant in Tomsk, Russia. “Under the scope of this agreement, InterBulk will perform all packaging, warehousing and loading operations for the various modes of transport for TomskNeftekhim’s polyethylene plant,” says InterBulk. “The initial annual revenue for InterBulk’s on-site activity is anticipated to be approximately €1m. At the same time, InterBulk is introducing dry bulk technology, which will bring cost effectiveness to SIBUR’s supply chain. The bag-in-box technology was developed by InterBulk, and has now been adopted as industry standard for the bulk movement of polymer in Europe.”
