Plains All American Pipeline LP (PAA) has completed the previously announced acquisition of the Yorktown terminal and Jal Pipeline from Western Refining. The total value of the deal is put at some $220m.
Plains All American Pipeline is to go ahead with the Phase IV expansion of its St James, Louisiana terminal, including construction of an additional 1.2m bbl (190,000 m3) of oil storage capacity by the third quarter 2012.
